| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is visually identical to the obverse, presenting the Chilean national coat of arms in the brass centre with the quartered shield, condor and huemul supporters, and feathered crest above. The nickel outer ring bears the same inscription REPÚBLICA DE CHILE along the upper arc in raised Latin capital letters. This uniformity on both faces is characteristic of a trial strike or pattern piece, where the definitive reverse design had not yet been finalised. The field of the ring is otherwise plain and unadorned. |
