Reverse description Large crowned Gothic monogram V, for Valencia, dominates the central field, flanked by the letters D and S indicating the denomination (Diners/Sous). Below the monogram, the Roman numeral III denotes the value of three diners or treseta. The date appears distributed within the surrounding circular legend in Latin, which continues the royal titulature HISPANIARUM REX. The design is bold and simply executed, characteristic of the small copper coinage of the Valencia mint under Philip V.
