| 背面描述 | The reverse features two large, boldly rendered monogram letters AR occupying the central field, a hallmark device associated with the Brioude mint and characteristic of Merovingian tremisses of this period. The letters are rendered in a simplified, angular style typical of Frankish hammered gold coinage. A surrounding inscription in debased Latin runs along the periphery of the flan, identifying the mint and the moneyer or authority. The overall design is crude but intentional, consistent with provincial Merovingian monetary production of the late sixth to early seventh century. |
