Reverse description Facing bust in the center of the field, similar in style to the obverse, depicting a schematic frontal effigy with pellet-dot facial features and curvilinear hair rendered in the debased late antique manner typical of the Asidona mint. Below the bust appear crossed torques or ornamental motifs. The mint and epithet legend ASIDONIA PIVS is disposed around the central device in angular, somewhat irregular Latin characters, enclosed within a beaded border that follows the contour of the hammered flan.
