| Beschrijving keerzijde | A cross potent set upon a stepped base occupies the central field, flanked on either side by the letters T and H in a monogrammatic arrangement, referencing the Beneventan mint authority. Immediately below the crossbar appears the letter R, denoting Romoald II as the issuing duke. A continuous border of pellets or degenerate legend surrounds the design, consistent with the simplified reverse composition found on Beneventan tremisses imitating Byzantine gold coinage. The exergue bears the mint mark CONOB, a vestigial reference to Constantinople. |
