| Obverse description | Frontal facing bust of King Recaredo I rendered in a schematized, late antique style typical of Visigothic coinage, depicting the king with a beaded diadem and draped shoulders adorned with a crosshatched paludamentum. The facial features are stylized with large dot eyes and a prominent nose, reflecting the artistic conventions of the Hispano-Visigothic mint.
