| Description du revers | Facing frontal bust rendered in the same schematic Visigothic style as the obverse, representing a royal or victory effigy, with pendilia at either side and a cross pattée surmounting the head. The figure is draped, and the treatment of the face and hair reflects the strongly stylised, nearly abstract artistic conventions characteristic of Visigothic tremisses struck at the Emerita mint. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, identifying the mint city and the royal epithet. |
