| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold cross potent on steps occupies the centre of the reverse field, with pellets at the terminals, typical of Lombard tremissis coinage. To the left of the cross shaft appears the initial S and to the right the initial L, identifying the co-rulers Scauniperga and Liutprand. The surrounding circular Latin legend, read continuously, invokes victory for the Augustus and closes with the Constantinople mint mark CONOB, retained as a traditional prestige formula even though the coin was struck at Benevento. |
