A star appears in the right field, serving as a mint or workshop symbol. The exergual mintmark CONOB, denoting the Constantinople mint and the standard fineness of the gold, is inscribed below the ground line. The surrounding legend VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM proclaims the victory of the Augusti. |
