| Obverse description | Two facing busts of the co-rulers Egica and Wittiza rendered in a highly schematized, late antique style typical of Visigothic coinage, positioned side by side within the field. Between and above the busts appears a cross potent, serving as the central devotional motif. The busts are crudely stylized with minimal facial detail, consistent with the degenerate engraving conventions of late Visigothic tremisses. The entire design is encircled by a beaded border. The surrounding legend reads +IDNNMEGICAP+REGS, identifying the two reigning monarchs. |

| Reverse description | A prominent cross potent occupies the central field of the reverse, flanked by the schematic letters S and M in the quarters, characteristic of the mint signature for Salmantica (modern Salamanca). Four smaller crosses are distributed in the angles of the central cross, filling the field with devotional imagery consistent with Visigothic Christian iconographic convention. The design is enclosed within a beaded border. The surrounding legend reads +VVITTIZAP+RGS, referencing the junior co-ruler Wittiza. |
