| Obverse description | Central field depicts two facing royal busts flanking a tall cross on steps, rendered in the highly stylized, schematic manner characteristic of late Visigothic coinage. The busts are shown frontally, each wearing a diadem or crown, with the cross serving as the dominant central symbol of royal and ecclesiastical authority. A circular beaded or serrated border encloses the design, with the Latin legend arranged around the periphery.
