Reverse description Central field features a cross potent or stepped cross prominently displayed, surrounded by highly stylized letterforms characteristic of the degenerating script of late Visigothic mint production. Two schematic figures or bust-like elements may flank the central cross motif, consistent with the joint-reign typology of this issue. The legend names co-ruler Wittiza and runs around the periphery within a serrated or beaded border. The reverse design mirrors the obverse in its overall compositional structure, reinforcing the legitimacy of both kings as co-rulers. The execution reflects the provincial Gerunda mint style, with somewhat cruder engraving than metropolitan Visigothic issues.
