| Reverse description | The winged figure of Victory stands facing left in three-quarter view at the centre of the field, rendered in the elongated late antique style. She holds a long jewelled cross-on-globe in her right hand and a wreath in her raised left hand, her wings spread behind her. A star appears in the right field. The circumferential legend VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM encircles the type, while the mint mark CONOB is inscribed in the exergue, denoting pure gold coinage struck at Constantinople. |
