(Translation: Our Lord, Victory.)
Reverse description Central device consisting of a tall cross on steps with the monogram of Arichis — formed by the letters A and H interlaced at the base of the cross shaft — occupying the lower portion of the field, in direct imitation of Byzantine tremissis reverse types. A cluster of pellets appears above the arms of the cross. The surrounding Latin legend, reading VITIRA - PRINPI A CONOB, is distributed around the periphery of the flan, invoking the victory of the prince, naming Arichis, and concluding with the CONOB mint mark denoting Constantinople as the monetary standard. The die work reflects the characteristic Beneventan adaptation of Byzantine iconographic conventions.
