Obverse description Nimbate bust of Christ Emmanuel facing, depicted in the orant posture with both hands raised, wearing tunic and himation with finely rendered drapery folds. The nimbus is adorned with a dotted border, and the figure is rendered in the hieratic Byzantine iconographic tradition. Greek Christogram legend flanks the bust in the field to left and right.
