Obverse lettering + PHILIPVS REX.
Reverse description Central field displays a large, boldly rendered fleur-de-lis within a beaded inner circle, serving as the principal heraldic device of the Capetian dynasty. The surrounding legend is divided into four segments reading TO/LA/CI/VI, abbreviating TOLOSAE CIVITAS (City of Toulouse), separated by small ornamental crosses at the cardinal points. The legend and decorative crosses are contained between the beaded inner border and the irregular outer rim of the coin. The hammered flan shows characteristic uneven edges and slight surface wear. The reverse composition clearly identifies the Toulouse mint and the city's civic identity under royal French authority.
