| Obverse description | The facade of the Saint Petersburg Mint building in high relief occupies the upper field, with the legend МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР inscribed on its frieze. Superimposed in the lower center is a raised depiction of the historic 1724 ruble coin in oxidized finish, featuring a cross formed by four Cyrillic П letters with crowned I's at the corners. The СПМД mintmark and serial number 284 appear in the lower field alongside mint equipment vignettes. |
