Obverse description The obverse depicts two conjoined busts in high relief: on the left, Emperor Nicholas II in military uniform, and on the right, Tsar Mikhail Fyodorovich wearing a traditional Russian crown (shapka monomakha) with a cross finial. The effigies face slightly left and right respectively, filling the entire field with no legend.

Reverse description The reverse features a heraldic griffin in high relief at center, depicted rampant and holding a sword and a shield decorated with a rose motif. The circular legend МОСКОВСКИЙ МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР arcs across the top, ПРОИЗВОДИТЕЛЬ ЖЕТОНОВ arcs along the bottom, and the dates 1613-1913 and 2013 appear in the left and right fields respectively.
