Obverse description The obverse features a central circular device depicting an Aztec or Mesoamerican eagle devouring a serpent, rendered in relief within a plain border. Surrounding the central device, the legend reads 'KING FARUK' along the sides, 'DIE FROM COLLECTION OF' at the top, and 'RESTRIKE JUNE 1985 BY DEL ROMINES' along the bottom, identifying this piece as a restrike made from a die formerly in the collection of King Farouk.
