Reverse description The papal coat of arms of John Paul II occupies the center field, depicting a shield charged with a cross and the letter M, surmounted by the papal tiara and flanked by the crossed keys of Saint Peter. The date is divided on either side of the arms, with the mintmark and fineness mark '999' and 'H' visible in the lower exergue. A beaded border and decorative outer rim frame the design.
