Reverse description Standing allegorical female figure of Providence in classical dress, holding a large shield or globe in her right hand and extending her left arm, with a young naked putto clinging to her left leg. The field is populated with symbolic vignettes of insurable risks: a ship in distress at sea to the left, a burning building with flames and smoke to the right, and architectural elements suggesting commerce and property. The Roman date appears in the exergue.
