正面描述	The obverse features in high relief the figure of Lange Wapper, the folkloric giant of Antwerp, striding dynamically while holding a heraldic shield bearing the initials BVMG and crossed engraving tools. To the left, a detailed depiction of the tower of the Cathedral of Our Lady (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal) of Antwerp. The dates 1961 and 1981, marking the 20th anniversary of the issuing association, appear in the lower field.
