Obverse description Central field divided horizontally by a bold line, with multi-line Arabic inscriptions filling both upper and lower registers. The legends, rendered in a fluid nastaliq-style script, record the ruler's name and titles. Decorative floral rosette ornaments punctuate the field at the cardinal points. The entire design is enclosed within a plain linear border, the coin's flan being characteristically irregular in outline.
