Obverse description Bold Arabic calligraphic inscription in nastaliq script occupying the entire field, arranged in two registers separated by a sweeping horizontal dividing stroke. The legends reference the ruler Muhammad Alim Khan and include religious formulae typical of Bukharan coinage. The planchet is irregular and slightly uneven, characteristic of hand-struck gold coinage of the period. The rim is plain and undefined, merging into the coin's irregular edge.

Reverse description Arabic calligraphic inscription in nastaliq script arranged across two registers within the field, giving the mint name, Hijri regnal date, and denominational or honorific formulae. A decorative border composed of alternating geometric and pellet motifs encircles the central inscribed area, forming a distinctive inner ring. The surface shows the characteristic flow lines and slight undulation of a hand-struck gold flan. The irregular planchet edge is consistent throughout Bukharan tilla coinage of this reign.
