| 正面描述 | Draped bust of Victor Frederick II, Prince of Anhalt-Bernburg, facing right, with flowing curled hair tied with a ribbon at the nape. The portrait is rendered in a refined baroque style with detailed drapery at the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading the ruler's abbreviated titles and dominions. The inner field is plain, with the bust occupying the majority of the flan. The coin exhibits a milled border along the rim. |

Anhalt-Bernburg was a minor Saxon principality with virtually no military capacity of its own, yet the Seven Years' War pulled it directly into the conflict as Prussian and Austrian armies repeatedly crossed its territory. Victor II Frederick issued emergency fractional thalers in 1758 to address the practical collapse of small-denomination liquidity — armies requisitioned coin as readily as grain. Mann 628a distinguishes this variety within what is otherwise a tightly clustered group of 1758 Bernburg fractions.
