Reverse description The heraldic bear of Anhalt, crowned and collared, is depicted in passant posture facing left atop a coursed ashlar wall rendered in fine detail. The denomination mark appears on a cartouche within the wall in the lower central field, reading 1/3 F.S. A scrolled ribbon banner in the upper field carries the Latin motto PERRUMPENDUM, referencing the prince's perseverance. The composition is boldly struck with strong relief typical of mid-18th century German milled coinage.
