The animal is rendered with considerable detail, its crown placed upon the head and its forepaws raised as it strides across the battlements. The Latin motto legend PERRUMPENDUM arcs around the upper field, referencing the dynastic device. The overall composition is characteristic of mid-18th century German minting artistry, with the wall rendered in careful perspective below the central device.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A crowned quartered coat of arms occupies the central field, displaying the multiple heraldic quarters of the Anhalt-Bernburg princely house, with the fractional denomination 2/3 prominently inscribed on an escutcheon at the base of the shield. The date 1746 is divided across the field to either side of the shield, flanked by the mint-master initials HC and RF. A continuous Latin legend encircles the entire design, detailing the ruler's full titles and the monetary standard. The composition is enclosed within a beaded inner border, consistent with the milling practices of the period.
