| Obverse description | The heraldic bear of Anhalt, crowned and passant to the left, is depicted in high relief atop a crenellated masonry wall featuring an arched gateway at its base. The animal is rendered with considerable detail, its crown placed upon the head and its forepaws raised as it strides across the battlements. The Latin motto legend PERRUMPENDUM arcs around the upper field, referencing the dynastic device. The overall composition is characteristic of mid-18th century German minting artistry, with the wall rendered in careful perspective below the central device. |
