| 正面描述 | Bare-headed effigy of Grand Duke Paul Friedrich of Mecklenburg-Schwerin facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair. The truncation of the neck is plain and unadorned. The two-thirds thaler denomination was a peculiarity of the North German monetary system, persisting well into the nineteenth century largely because it aligned with the Hamburg banco standard rather than the Prussian-dominated Conventionsthaler system. Mecklenburg-Schwerin clung to it longer than most. Paul Frederick's reign was brief — he died in 1842 after fewer than four years on the throne — making the production window for this type correspondingly narrow.
Kunzel 399 is the standard attribution for the type; collector interest tends to cluster around die variants documented within that reference rather than the KM listing.
