| Description du revers | The reverse displays the elaborate quartered arms of Saxony within a baroque shield, supported by two rampant lions as heraldic supporters, with the electoral sword and rautenkranz (rue-wreath) prominently featured. The denomination mark '1/3' appears in an oval cartouche at the base of the shield. The mintmaster's initials 'C R' appear in the field to the right of the shield. The encircling Latin legend names the Holy Roman Empire dignity, with the year 1673 incorporated into the legend. The composition is characteristic of the finely engraved Saxon electoral coinage of the period. |
