Obverse description Draped bust of Johann Georg II, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau, facing right, with flowing long hair in the late Baroque style. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the hair and drapery. A Latin legend encircles the portrait within a beaded border, reading IOHAN·GEORG·D G·PR·ANH·C·A·D·S·E·B·, abbreviating his full title as Prince of Anhalt, Count of Ascania, Lord of Zerbst and Bernburg.
