| Reverse description | Crowned square shield bearing the quartered royal arms of Great Britain and Hanover, surmounted by an arched crown with visible cross and fleur-de-lis finials. The four quarters display the arms of England (lions passant), France (fleurs-de-lis), Ireland (harp), and Hanover (horses and crowns), divided by a plain cross. The denomination ⅙ appears in an oval cartouche below the shield, with the date split across the upper legend on either side of the crown.
