Obverse description Armored bust of Frederick William I, King of Prussia, facing right, wearing a cuirass adorned with ornate relief decoration and a collar of the Order of the Black Eagle. The effigy is rendered in high relief with considerable detail in the armor chasing. The circular legend reads FRID • WILH • D • G • REX • BORVSSIAE • EL • BR •, separated from the portrait by a plain inner field. The coin's periphery is bordered by a continuous dentilated rim.
