| Obverse description | Unadorned right-facing bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) with a prominent, elongated neck, the hair dressed in loosely curled locks with a flowing queue falling behind. The portrait is rendered in a bold, high-relief Baroque style characteristic of mid-18th century Prussian coinage. The encircling Latin legend reads FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX, distributed around the full periphery of the field. |
