Reverse description The Prussian black eagle displayed, wings spread, set within an oval escutcheon surmounted by an elaborate royal crown with arched band and orb finial. The shield and eagle are framed within an ornate asymmetrical baroque cartouche of scrolling acanthus foliage, palm fronds, and laurel sprigs. The date 1741 is divided at the upper field, flanked by the cartouche scrollwork, while the mint initials EG and the denomination fraction 2/3 appear at the lower field, with a small star or mint mark to the right, all within a reeded border.
