Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Frederick I, King of Prussia, facing right, wearing a laureate wig with flowing curls and armor adorned with a shield motif at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief with finely detailed engraving characteristic of early 18th-century German coinage. The circular legend reads FRIDERICUS REX PORUSSIAE, separated by stops, running along the inner border of the coin.

Reverse description Crowned, elaborately shaped cartouche displaying an eleven-fold quartered coat of arms of the Prussian Kingdom, flanked by the mintmaster's initials H-F-H. Below the shield, the fractional value 2/3 is shown within an oval, with the date divided on either side beneath. The motto SUUM CUIQUE (To each his own) appears as the reverse legend, reflecting the royal Hohenzollern device.
