| Obverse description | Central field displays the quartered armorial shield of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, featuring the ox head of Mecklenburg, the eagle of the Principality of Schwerin, the arm and cross of Rostock, and the bull head of Stargard, all surmounted by a ducal crown. The mantled shield is rendered in high relief with fine heraldic detail. A circular legend surrounds the entire design, reading the title and name of the reigning duke. |
