| Obverse description | Central field displays the quartered armorial shield of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, featuring the ox head of Mecklenburg, the eagle of the Principality of Schwerin, the arm and cross of Rostock, and the bull head of Stargard, all surmounted by a ducal crown. The mantled shield is rendered in high relief with fine heraldic detail. A circular legend surrounds the entire design, reading the title and name of the reigning duke. |

| Reverse description | The large fractional numeral '2/3' dominates the center of the field in bold script, separated by a horizontal bar, denoting the denomination of two-thirds Thaler. Below the fraction, a straight horizontal line divides the field, beneath which the patriotic dedication legend 'DEM VATERLANDE' is inscribed, followed by the date '1813' at the bottom. The circular border legend at the top reads '18: STUCK EINE MARK FEIN', indicating the coin's fineness standard of 18 pieces to the fine mark of silver. |
