Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Frederick August II facing right, wearing a full curled allonge wig with flowing locks descending to the shoulder, the cuirass decorated with a circular clasp at the chest and detailed relief work on the pauldron. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque tradition, occupying the majority of the coin's field. The circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, interrupted at the base by the truncation of the bust.
