Obverse description Standing full-length figure of Saint Paul, patron saint of Münster, depicted with sword and book, rising above a detailed panoramic view of the city of Münster. The cityscape is rendered with considerable artistic detail, showing towers, spires, and fortifications. The date 1638 appears in the lower portion of the field within the city view.
