Reverse description The reverse features a full-bodied stag standing to the left, rendered in naturalistic relief and set within a beaded inner circle. The animal is depicted with prominent antlers and stands on a grassy ground line, serving as the heraldic symbol of the County of Wernigerode. Surrounding the beaded circle is the Latin titular legend of the ruling counts, punctuated by dots and abbreviated throughout. The lettering runs continuously around the periphery of the coin within the outer rim.
