Reverse description The entire reverse field is occupied by a ten-line Latin commemorative inscription in Roman capitals, filling the coin from top to bottom without any pictorial device. The text eulogizes Prince Christian Augustus as a pious and intrepid ruler, recording his birth date of 29 November 1690 (NAT D XXIX NOV MDCXC), his fraternal concordat of 1742 (CVM FRATR CONCORD REMPVBLIC MDCCXLII), his solo rule from 1746 (SOL MDCCXLVI SVSCIPIENTIS), and his death on 16 March 1747 (MORT D XVI MART MDCCXLVII). The inscription is rendered in a clear, well-spaced lapidary style consistent with German Baroque commemorative coinage.
