Obverse description Draped bust of Augustus II (the Strong) facing right, wearing armor and a laurel wreath, with long flowing wig typical of the Baroque period. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy along the rim. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the late 17th-century engraving style characteristic of the Leipzig mint.

Reverse description Elaborately quartered royal coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth beneath a royal crown, incorporating the Polish eagle, Lithuanian Pursuer (Pahonia), and the Saxon arms of the Wettin dynasty. The shield is richly detailed with heraldic hatching. A circular Latin legend runs along the rim, with the date and mint mark appearing in the lower field or exergue.
