正面描述 Draped bust of Elector Charles Theodore facing right, wearing elaborate period court dress with decorative order star at the chest and long flowing wig. The portrait is rendered in high relief in a refined Baroque style. The encircling legend reads CAR. THEOD. D. G. C. P. R. S. R. I. A. & EL., abbreviating his full titles as Count Palatine of the Rhine and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire. The bust is positioned centrally within the field, with the legend interrupted at the top by the portrait. The coin's broad milled border frames the design with a fine inner toothed rim.

附加信息

Charles Theodore inherited the Palatinate electorate in 1742 and aggressively promoted the mining output of his territories — the "Ausbeutegulden" designation marks this coin explicitly as struck from locally extracted silver, a practice used to advertise the productivity of Palatine mines to neighboring courts and potential investors. The Sulzbach and Düsseldorf mining operations were the principal sources for such bullion in this period.

The Müseler reference places this firmly within the Ausbeute coinage tradition of the Holy Roman Empire, where mining lords routinely issued prestige pieces from a single ore body's yield. Dav SG#750 distinguishes this from the standard ⅔ Thaler issues of the same reign.
