Obverse description The central field displays the manifold quartered arms of Stolberg, flanked by the divided date and mintmaster's initials, surmounted by three ornate crested helmets with elaborate mantling. An oval cartouche in the lower portion of the field bears the fractional denomination 1/3, flanking the fineness inscription FEIN — SILB. The peripheral legend names the two co-ruling counts in abbreviated Latin form.
