Reverse description A detailed pastoral and mining scene depicting the Mehlbach mine set within a hilly rural landscape at the left of the field. Above the scene, a radiant all-seeing eye emits rays descending into the composition, symbolizing divine providence over the mining enterprise. A curved Latin legend occupies the upper portion of the field, while the fractional value designation 2/3 divides the words FEIN and SILBER across the field. The mintmaster's initials appear in the exergue.
