Reverse description Central device depicts the rampant Brunswick horse (the Saxon steed), prancing to the left atop a ground line, rendered with vigorous baroque dynamism. The motto PARTA TVERI (to defend what has been acquired) arcs around the upper periphery as the circular legend. Beneath the ground line, in the lower exergue, the denomination fraction 1/9 is displayed within a small cartouche or shield, indicating this coin's value as one-ninth of a Thaler.
