Obverse description Draped bust of Duchess Anna Amalia facing left, her hair elaborately dressed and adorned with a floral ornament, wearing a brooch at the décolletage with a large bow below. The effigy is rendered in high relief in a refined Baroque style. The encircling Latin legend reads AMALIA TVTRIX REG • SAX • VINAR • & ISENAC •, with the mintmaster initial K positioned in the lower right field.

Reverse description Ornate crowned baroque cartouche enclosing an 18-fold quartered coat of arms of the Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach ducal house, the shield elaborately framed with scrollwork and acanthus decoration. Below the shield, the denomination 2/3 is displayed within a separate cartouche. The date appears in the margin at upper right, and the inscription in the exergual area denotes the fine silver content and coin standard, reading XX EINE FEINE MARCK.
