| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by a large quartered coat of arms of the Bishopric of Halberstadt, surmounted by a bishop's mitre and flanked by a double-headed imperial eagle and a rampant lion in the upper quarters, with additional heraldic charges including a lion passant and a chequered field in the lower quarters. The shield is elaborately rendered in the late Gothic style typical of early sixteenth-century German die-cutting. A circular beaded inner border frames the arms. The surrounding legend reads in Latin and is separated by a pellet stop, running clockwise around the periphery of the coin. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Full-length standing figure of Saint Stephen, the protomartyr and patron saint of Halberstadt, depicted in episcopal vestments and holding a palm frond in his right hand and a book in his left, set within an inner beaded circle. The figure is rendered in a stylised late Gothic manner characteristic of early Reformation-era German coinage. The surrounding legend, running clockwise, identifies the saint by name and title. The field is plain, with no exergue. |
