Obverse description Draped bust of King Adolf Frederick of Sweden facing right, rendered in moderate relief with flowing periwig falling to the shoulder in the Baroque court manner. The effigy displays finely engraved curls and elaborate lace cravat detail at the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait reading ADOLPHUS•FRID•D•G•REX•SVEC•, abbreviating his royal title as King of Sweden by the Grace of God. The field is flat and unadorned, with a finely toothed border visible at the coin's rim.
